Because who are we if not yourselves. I always feel some sort of pity when I see people selling their selves to some tremendous higher cause.. their precious "live". If you can't be yourself within a certain community you'll lie your way through it and become merely a shadow of a former person, eventually You will fade away like You never walked the earth. That's the symbolism of the picture.
That's just my way to look at personality .. I like to think one's personality is defined by their ideas and the actions to get closer to those ideas. It's called IDEAlism you know.
So my message for you today my dear followers; don't lose yourself. Never forget about your roots.

Running contest 10 km around Dendermonde
Few weeks ago my sis ran a race in Dendermonde, took a few photo's. Left gal is my sis.

Serious cooking: fish and rice

Rice, veggies & fish

So not much to explain really, tried to prep a decent neat looking dish.. and succeeded.


Boiling the carrots so they soften up a bit, full length looks nicer on the plate but takes about 3 times as long to boil!



Chop the vegetables.


Basmati rice, cook 15 instead of 8 minutes to get it sticky. (2full cups is sufficient for 3-4 portions)


When the fish is ready, save the water it'll be the base for the sauce.


Add some bouillon, garlic, onion and milk.

Crazy mailbox power

Being creative with your mailbox

Don't know why or where this idea popped up in my head but I was thinking .. what in the Lord's name could you do with a mailbox?

The beauty about creativeness comes to light when you, as mail man, have to put a letter in a biker's ass.

French toast
French toast with applesauce, nothing special but nice instead of just a slice of bread.


Tosta mista
Croque monsieur, tosta mista, call it whatever you want .. you need something to spice it up a bit. Molten Boursin (herb cheese) with crisp bacon on top makes the flavour so soft it instantly melts on your tongue. (The little pieces of meat are just ham)

I just had to reinstall Firefox and I couldn't help noticing first thing I did was to install some extra features.. Some add-ons that make, here it comes, the overall internet-experience easier, faster and more efficient. So here are some extensions I use.

Speed Dial
Get clicking 'cause this speed dial makes visiting your favourite sites even faster ..

Sites you visit daily or even few times a day you put into the speed dial which pops up when you open a new window/tab.

Quite handy when you want to rip media from certain sites. Excellent to download a youtube-video for example.

Gmail Notifier

Get notifications every few minutes when you have received new e-mails.
This link-icon is attached to the status-bar so you can quickly go to Gmail.
Also possible to log-in multiple accounts!

Adblock Plus
Get rid of ads on a large variety of websites like facebook, telegraph, the times.
It's wonderful .. no more blinking alerts of me winning 468,768,446 dollars or telling me to get RIPPED, JACKED AND PUMPED!
Dictionaries
Always handy to let your writings be spelling checked ..

So having paid a visit to the doctor I'm on meds at the moment. But the thing that bugs me the most is having to follow this diet of easily digestible food to give my intestines a break.
Funny how people make mistakes when it comes to food when ill. I ate fruit and home-made soup which are very hard to digest if you aren't feeling super.

So rusk rusk rusk and instant soups for the moment bluh!
