AWFUL ME! Electro Friday is a day overdue.. but hey I've got a valid excuse. Friday I received the results from my exams and I passed all (Back-end programming 15/20 and XML 19/20) and got deliberated for Artificial Intelligence. On top of this Bootycamp found its ways to Geraardsbergen again and is, for me, the last party until school starts. So yes, enough reasons to skip a day!
Laurent Wery - Nagasaki Performed at Bootycamp, best dj of the evening.
Ludacris - How Low (SAVOY Remix)
Art vs. Science - Parlez-Vous Francais (Nadastrom Remix)
Antwerp, Laundry day Not being able to join in the party on Pukkelpop (due to exams) I had found a honourable alternative, Laundry day. Growing to a 60.000 visitors festival from a local street festivity it houses drum&bass, dubstep, hardstyle, techno and electro-artists. As you probably noticed by commercials, this years edition was Asian themed. I LIKE! We love Yoko! Alot of Belgian artists which is always cool to see we do have potential in the scene. Head liners: The Subs, Shameboy, Ed & Kim, Coone, The Oddword, Discobar Galaxie, Regi
Driving for about one and a half hours we arrived in Antwerp and got at the festival site around 14:00. Coming back lasted two hours and a half, jippy yay for all honking horns who leave at the exact same time (laundry day ends at 00:00), good there were some raving ladies around providing us with hardstyle lol.
E-LECTRONIC MUSIC Trying to get the list chronologically.. Here's most of the artists we checked out.
Teka B - Intro
Goldorak & Solpher highlights Dubstep bassline coming your way!
DJ Feadz Live @ Paris He's one fine DJ, I'll give you that. You'll be seeing him around, probably getting big over the next coming years.
Shameboy - blastermind
The Subs Personally my favourite performance. As closing act they blew the audience away with live songs as My Punk, Fuck that shit, Mitsubishi, Vomit in style and of course .. Pope of dope as final act.
