As from today, 21 march 2009, I started blogging.
The main reason for me is to reflect my professional side of I(nformation) T(echnology).

As wikipedia says:
Blogs often become more than a way to just communicate; they become a way to reflect on life or works of art.

The internet is big, accessible and THE source of information nowadays so it's really not a big surprise it not only has consequences in your daily way of life, relations but also your professional relations. Today employers check their applicants on google to see their intrests, way of communicating, picture, etc.
So I think it has a rather positive effect for your career if you have a professional-looking webblog instead of a bunch of party pictures on Facebook, Myspace, etc.

A sign of dedication to your work is always pleasant to see through the eyes of your (potential) employer.

English it is.
Posts on this webblog will be in English, originated in Anglo-Saxon England.

Photography
A picture is worth a thousand words
As the old Chinese proverb says, pictures are very powerful (often more powerful than words!).
I myself like having a clean professional looking picture, but of course creativity is what brings life to new forms inside the art of photography.

I recently bought a Nikon D40, my first Single-Lens Reflex camera to explore and exploit the world of digital photography. So you will see photographs pop up from time to time as I wield the camera to freeze time. I even made myself a flickr account.
